Celtic vs 76ers (last nights game)

Posted in Keep your eye on... on April 15, 2009 by soicalcritic

DAVIS did his thing last night with 15 pointsI haven’t watched a NBA game in years ; I was on my Candace Parker and Chris Lofton shit and now that he is one ball-less and oversea and she’s about to pop and in the WNBA, I have to turn my attention back  to the NBA. Well last night, I tuned in to watch the Sixers put the Celtics to work. Now if you don’t know, 2 out of the 4 star players for the Celtics were M.I.A in last night’s game (Ray Allen landed his elbow due another players groin in the last game and Kevin Garnett was out to rest his knee). But Pierce picked up the slack by making 7 out of 9 threes and sticking to Iguodala like Oprah to Obama’s dick in the last second of the game.

I think Iguodala is an amazing player he’s just on a horrible team ( like Kidd was once apon a time). Anyway, tonight the 76ers play the Calavliers tonight. Bless their hearts because they’ll need a mircle to win this one.

Out and About: Solange (Jane Brady)

16656491the_critic414200931629pmLast night in New York City, Solange attended The Body Shop and MTV’s ‘Say Yes, Yes, Yes” to safe sex event. I just made my Wire Image account so forgive me for the watermark, but didn’t the pigeon toed thing play out in the early 2000?

Jamie Foxx on Miley Cyrus

Posted in Funny, I do it for the kids on April 14, 2009 by soicalcritic

blame it on somebody

“You comedians go too far with the jokes” — Buddy Love (Nutty Professor)

Jamie, Jamie, Jamie! Now I’ve been a fan of Jamie’s since ‘In Living Color’ and ‘The Jamie Foxx’ show funny as hell, but I’m laughing for another reason today (not the ‘acting’ in the Blame it video). Click that big ass play button below.

As mean as those bullies with mics were, it was funny as shit. Miley shouldn’t have said what she said and now the wolves with jokes have grabbed hold of her. Po’ baby. Had we been in Miley’s hometown, Jamie’s ass would be in a tree some damn where. But off of that racial stuff (I’m a black woman so need to dial up the NAACP), was Jamie wrong?

As a grown man yes he was but Miley also has a 20 year old boyfriend (she’s 16 I think, all types of wrong) so her dad and his pancake makeup think she’s grown up enough. To help my point, watch the video below.

Even though he’s funny as hell, there’s truth behind the joke. So once again, was Jamie wrong?

Keri Hilson stands in my comment section

Posted in Time to Criticize on April 14, 2009 by soicalcritic

Madison Square GardenNo need to get brolic with me, hell! I get truly frighten when I get an email informing  me that I have a comment. Now most (if not all) of my comments are on post about Chris Brown and Ms.Keri. Now I know that their are some die hard Keri Hilson fans out there lurking in Beyonce bashing chatrooms or blogs but for Oprah sake, calm your nerves! There is no sense in your rolling your neck in my comment section.

I just had to get that off my chest.

You know you’ve made it when…

…there is a dance made in your honor.  View the video below.

In all honesty, the guy in the center for the entire first minute was more than enough for me. When he left the frame, I click that pretty pause button and opened a new window. Frankie (Keyshia Cole’s mother) is never going to get away from this crackhead rap. I wasn’t a fan of that show but I have seen a clip or two of Frankie acting a damn fool. I refuse to post videos because my face gets warm for Keyshia like it did that one time my friends mother came to the school in hair rollers and a bath room plus flippy floppies. You just don’t do that.

This is why I love…

…Nina Sky (I love when Nat put some stank on it). I’ve always been a fan of theirs. I was very disapponited that their debut album didn’t move too much. I dug the album very much. Especially when they were the first to singing to scream ‘turn me on’ with this one. That was a hot track. Pee their new video ‘On some Bullshit’.
